Understanding the deeper meaning behind the zodiac and what that means for you
At this moment in time we have two systems of thought in interpreting horoscopes generally and for personal individuals. There is Sidereal a.k.a Vedic Astrology and Tropical, otherwise what most of us know as western astrology.
Where one system is based on the sun’s movement around the ecliptic of the earth , the other is based of the moons movement around the zodiac and constellations that the Sun illuminates during its movement, thus creating seasons.

Now the only discrepancy involves the actual placement of where the sun is illuminating from a sidereal perspective. At this time it is around 15 degrees ahead of the tropical system.
One theory for this is that it hasn’t taken into account the procession of the equinox, which changes the Vernal point of where spring officially begins.
Since it moves backwards in time it shows how Sidereal astrology has moved with the times and tropical has not.
How one system never changes and the other continues to grow and evolve.

For example at this time it is August 22, 2022.. the Sun is at 4 degrees Leo yet in the tropical view we are just entering into Virgo season, although this system honors the fact that regulus is at this point. Most likely since royalty can not tolerate being ignored. It ignores the fact that the sun is exalted here at this time, if it honored the seasons and procession. The system would realize it also needs to change, since nature abhors a vacuum. The only conclusion is that it will inevitably collapse, if it can’t tie both shoe laces together, so to speak. As time moves on the differences between the two will become more and more apparent.

When I decided to incorporate the sidereal system into my readings, it was very difficult to do both. The only reason people who understand this do, is if they want to hear an astrologers perspective and interpretation of the meaning behind the metaphysical as well as mathematical aspects. That’s the only reason.
Since these aspects that occur are equally the same and induce the same influence apart from the zodiac and house, if you were to look at that as well.

So for example, I was born with south node conjunct the moon, even though this looks like it’s in two different signs from either viewpoint the influence of the aspect will override whatever energies may also come in from that sign.
As the sign of the zodiac isn’t as important as the influence of the different degrees between them. Since we have more than only 13 constellations, if you are to include ophucious in the sky at any given time.

This new Moon is entering into the nakshatra of Magha, where our ancestors originate from. The story behind the 7 rishis tells us that the world and human race sprang from them and that we know that we are deeply connected to the stars and specifically the planets because of this. More so than anything else, these planets may also be viewed as if they were angels. As they have the ability to give us another viewpoint of our situation from a higher source.

When I decided to move my practice away from the western way of thinking about astrology, it was also around this time back in 2012 when I realized the profound significance and my new understanding took me on this journey to where I am now. Posting mostly when there is a new and full moon or whenever else I am moved to. As we lived through a pandemic for the previous two years I u fortunately wasn’t as excited about things as I used to be , but I’m hoping that will start to change. We have a lot of planets about to go retrograde so this might help re-work things, like this that we may have been putting off for some time…
